PREPARATION OF THE SUPPORT:

 

New plasters:

Check that the surface has been seasoned for at least 28 days and clean it carefully, removing all traces of dust, dirt and any loose material.
Ensure the consolidation and leveling of imperfections (holes, cracks) if necessary.
Use appropriate biocides in the presence of algae or mold.
If necessary, apply a layer of water-based primer.
Apply two layers of FONDO RICCO.

 

Old plasters:

Carefully remove all traces of loose and efflorescent paint.
Level the wall. Apply fillers if necessary.
Use appropriate biocides in the presence of algae or mold.
If necessary, apply a layer of water-based primer.
Apply two layers of FONDO RICCO.

 

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

It must be applied with a roller in two layers.
It is necessary to dilute the product with water.
Tools:
• Brush, roller;
• Dilution: 15-20% (by weight);
• Drying time (at T=23±2°C; RH=50±5%): dry to the touch = 3-4 hours; completely dry = 14-24 hours;
• Coverage: 3-4 hours;
• Environmental and surface conditions;
• Ambient temperature: min +5°C / max 35°C;
• Ambient relative humidity: < 80%;
• Do not apply on surfaces exposed to direct atmospheric agents.

All tools must be cleaned with water immediately after use.

Consumption
• 4-5 m2/lt (full application in two layers)
• 8-10 m2/lt per layer

PACKING
• Plastic boxes lt. 1 and lt. 4

 

PHYSICAL-CHEMICAL PROPERTIES:

• Color: white
• Viscosity: 14000-24000 cPs
• pH: 7-9
• Density: 1.64±0.05 gr/ml

 

HANDLING – STABILITY:

Storage: keep at temperatures between 5 and 35°C.
FONDO RICCO has no stability problems when it is kept in a dry place, at room temperature and in the original sealed containers.
PROTECT FROM FROST. The maximum storage period is 12 months.
